Resetting the Philips Hue Bridge is sometimes the only way out when all other solutions are unsuccessful. However, you should only use the reset in an emergency.
Resetting the Philips Hue Bridge – this is how to do it
You can reset the Philips Hue Bridge in a few seconds, even if you are a layman. After the final reset, however, the Philips Hue Bridge is back in the factory state. This means that you have to make all the individual settings again. This can be a bit of a challenge, depending on how many devices are connected to the Philips Hue Bridge.
- To reset the Philips Hue Bridge, you will need a small tool. This can be a paper clip or a pin, for example. If you have a suitable tool at hand, first turn the Philips Hue Bridge over.
- On the back of the Philips Hue Bridge you will see the button: “Restore Factory Settings”. Press this button with the tool for about 10 to 20 seconds.
- The Philips Hue Bridge will then restart, but in the factory settings again. Now the work begins for you. Configure the Philips Hue Bridge so that it meets your individual requirements.
