One of the biggest differences between a Chromebook and the laptop is undoubtedly that with the Chromebook you are completely tied to Google.
- In contrast to the laptop, you hardly have any freedom of choice when it comes to software selection. This basically also applies to the hardware, great extensions are not included in a Chromebook.
- One of the advantages of the Chromebook is that it is relatively light. This is because the Chromebook only has elementary hardware. This means that, unlike a laptop, you do not have a large hard drive on the Chromebook. For this reason, the data is stored via the Google Cloud.
- In order to be able to work with the Chromebook, you are required to create a Google account. The Google account is free of charge.
