DeLonghi Magnifica – how to clean the fully automatic machine properly
Cleaning a coffee machine involves more than just wiping the housing with a damp cloth. This is done quickly and should be done several times a week anyway. For your safety, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the socket. Clean the fully automatic machine as follows:
- You can extend the life of your fully automatic coffee maker by cleaning the inside as well. This includes descaling the DeLonghi Magnifica.
- Cleaning the DeLonghi Magnifica includes emptying and wiping out the drip tray regularly. At the same time, rinse the cover grille.
- Dirt in the form of coffee grounds often accumulates in and on the brew group. For this reason, you also need to clean the brew group. Depending on the model, the way to remove the brew group differs. You will find the instructions in your user manual.
- Once you have removed the brew group, rinse it thoroughly under running water. Dry the component carefully before putting it back in place.
