Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 is the latest installment of the Warhammer 40000 games, where you can get ready for epic firefights. The crossplay function is an important part of the action.

• Crossplay is available on all platforms. This means that console and PC players can join forces to battle the Tyranids from the Warhammer 40000 universe regardless of their preferred system

• PC players can use the Steam or Epic Games version. A disk version of the game is not available

• The Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 are supported consoles. This is a pure Next Gen title

• Important: The cross-play function is only available once you have completed the in-game tutorial, spoken to Captain Acheran and reached Kadaku. If necessary, you can also skip the tutorial via the menu

Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2: Activate and use crossplay

Crossplay in Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 is activated by default. You can check whether the function is active via the game’s main menu.

• Go to Settings in the main menu and then to Game. You will find the crossplay function in the Network tab. If this is not active, set it to On.

• You can then edit your squad directly in the game in the camp. There it is possible to invite three more players to join your squad.

• If you are all playing on the same platform, simply invite them via your friends list. This can be done directly via the squad menu.

• You can invite players on other platforms using the randomly generated code that is displayed when you click on the key icon during squad editing. You can also use the code to join other squads

• The code is then entered and access to the squad is granted immediately. You can then play the operation modes and campaign together, regardless of platform.

• Attention: The 6v6 multiplayer mode Eternal War has limited cross-play capability. PC players can only enjoy the larger battles among themselves, while Xbox and PlayStation owners can play together
