Twitch: Network Error – what you can do

by Johannes

If you receive the message “Twitch Error 2000” or “Network Error” in a Twitch stream, no connection can be established. We’ll show you how to solve the problem.

Twitch Error 2000: Network Error on Twitch – what to do?

If you don’t know what to do when you get a Network Error on Twitch, here are some solutions you can try.

  • Stream: If the problem only occurs with one stream, the cause is usually not you. Switch to another stream and check whether the stream in the Twitch app is also not working.
  • Router: Unplug your router for a few seconds and then plug it back in. This will fix minor network problems.
  • PC: In the meantime, also switch your computer off and on again. Again, there may be a problem in the cache.
  • Browser: The cause may also be in the cache of your browser, so you should clear your browser cache.
