Solitary Tip 1: Work through the lower solitaire cards first

When playing solitaire, be sure to work the bottom cards first, because these piles must empty first.

• See if you can put the bottom cards on top of each other. If you could move several cards at once, you should go for the pile that has fewer cards. This way you will get an empty space at the bottom faster.

• You can then quickly fill the empty spaces. Always uncover the top pile only when you can’t make another move at the bottom.

Tip 2: Every ace must go to the top immediately

Remember to move the aces immediately.

• This is especially true for aces that are in one of the lower piles. You move them by hand to one of the free places. Alternatively, double-click on the ace.

• You should also move the aces in the top stack immediately. This may give you a chance to move more cards from one of the lower piles.

Tip 3: Place the solitaire king on the free square

Work through the stacks at the bottom as best you can. You need the free space for kings.

• As soon as you have a free space, you should fill it with a king. Then stack all the other cards on top of it in order. This will also make it easier for you to put the cards on top later.

• If you have a choice between two kings, you should pay attention to which suit you can stack the most cards with afterwards.

• By the way, the same also applies to two free places. Ideally, fill them once with a black king and once with a red king. This way you are more likely to be able to play several cards at the same time.

Tip 4: Shift the cards around

If you can’t make any more moves at all or nothing seems logical to you, you should reshuffle.

• To do this, look at the cards and swap them around so that you can put some cards on top.

• Shuffling is important and often the only way to master the game.

• If you don’t see any more moves, click on the “Tip” item in the menu. In some games, you can also press the “T” on the keyboard and the game will show you which further move is possible.
