Tekken 8: Crossplay for everyone
Compared to previous titles, Tekken 8 relies on an extensive cross-play feature.
- All platforms support crossplay: Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. This significantly increases the number of players available for matches
- You can accept or reject the crossplay feature at the start of the game. Don’t worry, you can still adjust this option later
- To do this, simply go to the options in the main menu. Look for the crossplay option to switch it on or off.
Tekken 8: Crossplay with friends
If you want to play Tekken 8 together with your friends, this is also possible.
- This is where the battle lounge comes into play. It can be accessed via the main menu and serves as the game’s multiplayer and social hub. Then select the desired region, for example Europe.
- In the Lounge, open the menu and select the Community option. Then select Players in the lounge to get a list of all players present.
- Find the person you want and send them a friend request. All they have to do is accept it and you can start playing together. The person will then be in your friends list.
- Tip: You can also send people a friend request directly via their avatars in the battle lounge.
