Stray: The locations of all 4 notebooks

In Stray you explore the world as a cat, whereby you have to collect notebooks in the level in the slums. In order to progress in the story, it is helpful to know the locations of the books in order to find them

Stray: Notebooks in the Slums

In Stray, to complete the level in the slums, you need to find all four notebooks:

• Chapter 4 begins in the slums, which you must explore as a cat to discover the secrets of the past.
• To complete the level, a total of four notebooks are needed, which can be found scattered around the slums.
• To begin the search for the notebooks, you must first find Momo’s flat.
• On the roofs in the slums you will find two robots throwing paint buckets at each other. Near these robots is a red roof where you will find graffiti with an orange smiley face on a wall of a house.
• To the left of the smiley graffiti is a balcony, which you can reach via fans and air conditioners. There you have to jump through the window and can now start searching for the notebooks.

After you get to Momo’s flat, you will find the four books in the following places:

• You will be given notebook number 1 directly from Momo. The sad smiley face on it is an aid to finding the other three notebooks.
• Directly after leaving the house, the sad smiley can be seen on a blue neon sign on the left side. Proceed to this house and reach the roof.
• You can enter the ventilation shaft there after you have pulled out the power plug on the left. In the flat, in one of the many boxes you have to knock over, you will then find Zbaltazar’s second notebook.
• Follow this by leaving the flat and moving straight ahead across the rooftops to a balcony with the same graffiti. Through a small gap you enter Doc’s library. In the back, right-hand corner you will find a hidden side room.
• In it you will find the key to a safe with the clue that the safe is hidden behind books. In the library you will find three big stacks of books, which you make fall down by jumping on them. Behind them appears the safe with notebook number 3.
• After leaving the library you will again find the sad smiley on a blue wall on the right. Next to it is a window, which you can reach via roofs and pipes.
• After jumping through the window, you will find Clementine’s fourth and last notebook next to a screen in the study. Then return to Momo and hand over the notebooks you have found.
