The best ships in Starfield not only have epic names, but are also equipped with a range of impressive features
Best ships from Class A at Starfield
Among the Class A ships that you don’t need any special skills to control, there are two worth mentioning in Starfield:
- Warhorse: With its rock-solid armament and extremely powerful reactor, the Warhorse is one of the most attractive Class A ships. The Warhorse can be upgraded at will and is fast – but you will have to dig a little deeper into your pockets than with other Class A ships.
- Econohaul: If you are looking for a spacious transport ship, the Econohaul is the right choice for you. The ship is comparatively inexpensive and equipped with a large cargo hold – but it only has a short jump range and is rather suboptimally armed.
Class B: Aegis and Shieldbreaker
In the B class, the Aegis and Shieldbreaker ships stand out:
- Aegis: Apart from its rather small cargo hold, the Aegis has a lot to offer – it has a long jump range, is heavily armed and not too expensive. The Aegis is the perfect ship for traveling through the galaxy quickly and with a strong fighting spirit.
- Shieldbreaker: The Shieldbreaker is also a very well-armed ship. In addition to missiles, the Shieldbreaker is also equipped with laser weapons. Its cargo hold is also more spacious than that of the Aegis, but it is more expensive.
Class C: Stronghold and Abyss Trekker
Once you have reached level 4 of the “Flying” skill, you can tackle Class C ships such as the Stronghold and the Abyss Trekker:
- Stronghold: As the name suggests, the Stronghold is a solidly armed ship whose strong shields protect you from attacks. It also has a large cargo hold and a long jump distance
- Abyss Trekker: With the Abyss Trekker you choose a ship with excellent armament and a powerful reactor. The Abyss Trekker is the ideal warship, but does not have a very large cargo hold and is comparatively expensive.
