There are two ways to cure vampirism in Skyrim: Say a prayer or seek out a specific mage.
Curing Vampirism in Skyrim: The Altar Method
The easiest way to cure vampirism:
- If Skyrim notifies you that you are infected with vampirism, you should first try praying at an altar.
- In Weißlauf behind the marketplace, for example, there is such an altar.
- If you pray there, all diseases will be cured.
- If vampirism has already broken out, you must use another method.
End vampire state: Falion in Morthal
Another way to stop being a vampire in Skyrim takes you to Morthal.
- Go to any bar and ask for rumours there.
- After these rumours, go to the town of Morthal and talk to the mage Falion, whose house is in the north of the town.
- This one will give you the vampire quest you need to complete in order to be cured.
- Important: Once you have been cured by Falion, you cannot become a vampire for the rest of the game.
