Silent Hill 2 Remake: Here you will find all the maps

In the remake of the horror classic Silent Hill 2, there are eleven maps to help James and you find your way around the eerie town.

Silent Hill 2 Remake: Find all South Vale maps

Three of the eleven maps in the remake of Silent Hill 2 are based in the South Vale area:

• You can find the main map for South Vale right at the start of the horror game. Simply interact with James’ blue car in the parking lot after you are able to move. You will find the map in the vehicle.

• You will automatically receive the Eastern South Vale map after the cutscene when you enter South Vale for the first time during the story. Check your cards afterwards to get a glimpse of them.

• The same applies to the Western South Vale map. It is unlocked together with the Eastern South Vale map and is then available to you.

• Note: You do not have to find additional maps for the corresponding areas in the Otherworld. The maps change automatically.

Silent Hill 2 Remake: Unlocking additional maps

There are additional maps that belong to the areas between South Vale and the Lakeview Hotel of the horror game.

• You can’t miss the Wood Side Apartments map. Once you’ve entered the apartment complex, look for the illuminated bulletin board with maps of the entire building.
• The map for the Blue Creek Apartments can be found after the first cutscene with Pyramid Head. Follow the corridor from the room where the cutscene begins. At the end of the corridor, you will see another illuminated bulletin board with the map for the building.
• As soon as you enter Brookhaven Hospital, look for a magazine rack in the lobby. The map for the entire hospital is located on it.
• You can find the map for the Toluca Prison after a cutscene in the cafeteria. Leave the cafeteria and as soon as you reach the small room with the save point, you will find a bulletin board with the map to the right of it.
• You will automatically receive the Labyrinth Center map as soon as you enter the Labyrinth. This is not surprising, since it is a blank piece of paper that James fills in on his own as he explores the Labyrinth.

Silent Hill 2 Remake: All Lakeview Hotel Maps

Last but not least, there are the maps of the Lakeview Hotel in Silent Hill 2 Remake. This is a whole stack of maps for the horror classic.

• Before you enter the Lakeview Hotel, you reach the dock. Before you take the stairs up, look briefly to the left to collect the map Lakeview Hotel (Garden).
• Then enter the hotel through the entrance with the Welcome Back sign. Look to your right and you’ll see a bulletin board.
• Examine the board to receive the Lakeview Hotel (Main Building) map. It contains the floor plans for 1F, 2F and 3F.
• For the last map in the game, continue to follow the story until you have to leave the elevator and face the patrolling monsters in the hotel. Your goal is the room with the crackling TV.
• Once you’ve made it to this room, turn to your right again and you’ll find another bulletin board. The Lakeview Hotel map (Basement/Employee Section) is pinned to it, so all you have to do is examine it. This means you’ve found all the maps in the remake of the second part of Silent Hill.
