Dragon Age: The Veilguard: Release on Halloween
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the fourth installment in BioWare’s role-playing game series, which will be available right on Halloween.
- This means you can enter the world of Thedas again from October 31, 2024. In doing so, you will join the Veil Guard
- This information has been known since August 14, 2024 through a leak and the official release trailer just one day later.
- There is no earlier access for Dragon Age: The Veilguard yet. It is also not known whether BioWare and Electronic Arts will still be offering it.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard: All versions at a glance
If you are interested in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you can choose from the following versions:
- The Standard Edition contains only the game. The PC version for Steam, Epic Games and the EA app costs 59.99 euros, while you have to pay 79.95 euros for the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 versions instead
- The Deluxe Edition costs 79.99 euros on the PC and a whopping 99.95 euros on the consoles. This gives you a whole package of cosmetic items for Rook: Six weapon customizations and an armor set for each of the three classes warrior/warrioress, mage/magician and rogue/rogue. The Deluxe Edition also includes seven cosmetic weapon and armor set customizations for your companions.
- Both versions are also available as physical versions. However, the prices are usually higher than the digital editions and may even differ depending on the provider.
- As an add-on, you can buy the Vyrantium Pack for a price of 57 euros. This version does not include the game and is only available from selected retailers such as Coolshop or GamesOnly (where it is bundled with the game). The pack includes a steelbook, magnetic metal wall poster and notebook, securely packaged in a decorative collector’s box.
- Rook’s Treasure Chest is the Collector’s Edition of the game and is available exclusively from the BioWare Gear Store for a price of €136.89. Like the Vyrantium Pack, the game is not included in the edition, but includes numerous goodies for fans.
- This includes the Luminous Lyrium Dagger, Rook’s deck of 52 cards, a cloth card including quiver, an enchanted W12 dice with matching storage pouch, a decorative glass bottle, a thank-you letter and high-quality prints of the companions. The merchandise items are packaged in a matching cardboard case.
- Note: You will receive the pre-order bonus regardless of the version as long as you purchase the game before release. This is the cosmetic Blood Dragon armor for all three classes in the game.
