Only with the right items can you catch many Pokémon in the popular augmented reality app Pokémon GO
Get items in Pokemon GO – find all Pokeballs here
Pokeballs are probably the most important items in Pokémon GO. There are different variants with different success rates for catching Pokémon.
- Pokeball: Right at the start of Pokemon Go, you will receive a few balls along the way. You can then obtain these in Pokestops, arenas and in the Pokeshop for money.
- Superball: From level 12, 20 Superballs are automatically added to your inventory. They are also rarely found in Pokestops and arenas.
- Hyperball: Hyperballs are added as soon as you reach level 20. These are also rarely found in Pokestops and arenas.
- Master Ball: The Master Ball is the rarest ball in Pokékom GO. No wonder, because if you use it, you will definitely catch the respective Pokémon.
Potions and revitalizers – keep your Pokémon fit with these items
In battles, it can happen that your Pokemon loses power points or is knocked out completely. You can use potions and revitalizers to revive the monster.
- Potion: From level 5, you will receive potions that restore 20 CP. These can be obtained during level-ups, at Pokestops and arenas and in the store.
- Super Potion: A super potion restores 50 HP. This potion is rarely found in Pokestops and arenas
- Hypertrank: This potion restores 200 HP to your Pokemon. This is also rarely available in Pokestops and arenas
- Vitalizer: If your Pokemon loses all its HP, the only way to get it back on its feet is with a vitalizer. You can get this from level 5 in Pokestops and arenas.
- Top-Beleber: Replenishes all of your Pokemon’s HP after a lost battle. This is automatically added to your inventory from level 26 and is then rarely available in Pokestops and arenas.
Catch Pokemon more effectively with these items
To catch Pokemon more easily, there are special items such as berries and smoke.
- Smoke: At the beginning and during level ups, you will always receive a smoke that attracts Pokemon. Smoke can also be purchased in the store
- Berries: Throwing a berry at a Pokemon distracts it and makes it easier to catch. The first berries are available from level 8, then with each subsequent level-up. In the meantime, you can get berries at Pokestops and in arenas. In addition to the familiar raspberries, there are also sanana berries and nana berries.
- Eggs: These contain Pokémon that you can hatch with an egg incubator and power in your legs. You can usually obtain eggs in Pokestops.
- Lucky Egg: A Lucky Egg gives you double XP for half an hour. The lucky eggs have only been spotted in the store so far. You will also receive one from time to time when you level up
- Egg incubator: You will receive an incubator right from the start, and later also when you level up. You can also purchase additional incubators in the store.
- Lock Module: This item lures Pokémon in the direction of a Pokestop for half an hour. You can get a lure module from level 8 and then for further level ups. The item is also available in the store
- Camera: You get this right at the start and can use it to take photos of Pokémon.
