In Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord you work your way up step by step to become the ruler of your own kingdom. Thanks to various cheats, you can make your work easier and triumph even in the trickiest situations.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord – unlock cheats with a few clicks

Before you can use the cheats in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, you must first unlock them with a few clicks. This is first done outside of the game.

• Before you start the game, you must navigate to the Documents folder on your PC. There should be a Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord folder in this. For faster navigation, if you are already in the Documents folder, you can type the name of the game in the top right corner of File Explorer to go directly to it.

• Now go to the Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord folder and click on the Configs subfolder there. Now click on the document engine_config.txt. Now the document should open in a text editor such as Notepad.

• When you are in the text editor, press the key combination CTRL + F and enter cheat_mode in the search field to go directly to the line you are looking for. Here you change the value 0 at the end of the line to a 1. Finally, save the changes in the document and close it.

• Important: If you enable cheats in Bannerlord, you will not be able to unlock Achievements for the game.

Once activated, you can access the cheat console in Bannerlord by pressing ALT + ^.

• Complete current quest: campaign.complete_active_quest

• View active quests: campaign.list_active_quests

• Cancel current quest: campaign.cancel_active_quest

• Add reputation: campaign.add_renown_to_clan [number]

• Add influence: campaign.add_influence [number]

• Add focus points: campaign.add_focus_points_to_hero [number]

• Add gold: campaign.add_gold_to_hero [number]

Bannerlord – the most important key commands in cheat mode

Some key combinations in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord help you in combat, leveling your character and travelling on the map.

• STRG + H completely heals your own HP during combat. CTRL + SHIFT + H heals your horse’s HP.

• CTRL + F4 automatically knocks an opponent unconscious in combat. CTRL + ALT + F4 makes an entire army of the opponent faint directly.

• If you want to increase the influence of the clan, you have to press the key combination CTRL + X in the clan menu. This increases the Influence value by 1000 points.

• By pressing CTRL + A you set all attributes to 10 when you are in the character menu. If you want to increase the attributes a little more specifically, use the key combination CTRL + 1-6 in the character menu. Each of the numbers 1 to 6 stands for its own attribute, which will be increased by one point after entering the combination.

• To expand your own troops, you must select the desired troop type in the troop screen and then press CTRL + H. This will add another troop to this troop. This will add another troop to this one. With CTRL + SHIFT + H there are directly ten new units instead of one. Press CTRL + X to increase the level of the selected troop. If you want to increase your character’s level, you must type CTRL + L.

• If you want to travel quickly to another place on the world map, hold down CTRL and left-click where the destination is.

• Another advantage of activated cheats is that all items in the game are available to you. You will find an overview in the inventory screen. All items are now listed on the left side. Use the arrow next to the item to add it to your own inventory. This is especially helpful if you want to sell very valuable items in order to get money quickly.
