Craft a sponge in Minecraft
Sponges in Minecraft are available wet or dry. Wet sponges can only be found in ocean monuments, where they spawn or are dropped by the Guardians.
- To make a dry sponge in Minecraft, you need an oven and suitable fuel. Of course, a wet sponge is also necessary
- Place the wet sponge in the stove and add fuel. This can be coal, wood, wooden boards, coal blocks or lava buckets.
- The wet sponge is now dried and you have a dry sponge. If you are using a lava bucket or are quick enough to replace it, you can also fill a bucket with the water that the sponge releases
- It is also possible to dry the sponge in the Nether. As soon as the block is placed in the Nether, it dries out immediately. This method works much faster, especially for larger quantities.
