To change your Minecraft email, you need to add an email alias to your Microsoft account
Minecraft: How to change your email address
Minecraft accounts have been managed by Microsoft since 2021. For this reason, you can only use an alias to change your email address.
- Go to the Minecraft homepage and log in with your account via Account. Then click on the icon again and a drop-down menu will open. Select Profile from there
- In the profile, you will find the My account tab on the left-hand side of the screen. You will now be prompted to log in to your Microsoft account.
- After logging in, you will be in your Microsoft account. On the left-hand side, navigate to the Your information tab, recognizable by the person symbol. In the next window under Account info, select the option Edit account information
- You are now in the Manage Microsoft login window. There you will see your active e-mail addresses and aliases. Click on Add e-mail address
- Enter the new alias or an existing email address that you want to add. Minecraft may not work with existing addresses. Therefore, as a precaution, create a completely new alias.
- Click Add alias to complete the process. Then select the newly created alias as the primary alias in the overview using the Set as primary option.
- Now you can exit the Microsoft account management. You can then log in to Minecraft with the new e-mail address.
