Lords of the Fallen: Endings – Overview of all endings

by Pramith

Lords of the Fallen has 3 endings that are very different from each other. The beacons play an important role here

Lords of the Fallen: Ray ending explained

The ray ending in Souslike Lords of the Fallen is the only one in the game that requires you to light the beacons.

  • Primarily follow the main story of the game for this ending and light all the beacons over the course of the game. As soon as you light even one, you will no longer be able to reach the other endings
  • This starts with the beacon in the Abandoned Moor, which you will probably light first. After that, the other ends are locked
  • After that, you can follow the story as you wish. Your further decisions no longer affect the ending.
  • After that, you only have to defeat Adyr to herald the end. You will then unlock the Radiant Purifier class and can use it in the next run

Lords of the Fallen: Other Endings at a Glance

Lords of the Fallen offers two more endings that take a much darker direction. For these, you are not allowed to light a single beacon during the entire course of the game, which has a significant impact on the respective passage.

  • For the Inferno ending, you must first defeat all beacon bosses and then obtain the rune from Adyr. You can then strengthen it directly at Adyr in Bramis Castle
  • With the strengthened Adyr rune, return to the beacons. Destroy them one by one to finally hit Justicia Clerica at the Empyrium beacon
  • Use the rune to enter Justicia’s mind, where Iselle is waiting for you. Now all you have to do is speak to Iselle to get the Inferno ending. This will unlock the next starting class, Lord
  • Last but not least, there is the true ending entitled Umbral. You must not light any beacons for this one, as you must remain in contact with Damarose.
  • The Umbral ending is tied to numerous other enemies, items and equipment. You must collect a number of parasites and kill Molhu with them to reach the Cradle of the Mother
  • The Umbral ending rewards you with the Corrupted Child starting class and gives you an extensive insight into the Umbral.
