How to give away V-Bucks in Fortnite

It is not possible to give away V-Bucks directly in Fortnite, although you can send gifts to friends via the store.

This is how V-Bucks can be given away

If you want to give V-Bucks to a friend, you can’t just do it through the in-game store. However, you can give them a gift card just like any other voucher.

• Gift cards for V-Bucks are available at retail stores, gas stations, or online. The more V-Bucks you want to give away, the more expensive the card will be.

• 2,800 V-Bucks can be purchased for €22.99; 5,000 V-Bucks can be purchased for €36.99. Finally, you can purchase 13,500 V-Bucks for €89.99.

• Alternatively, you can also give away money for V-Bucks directly using other payment methods. For example, via Paypal.

Giving away items in Fortnite

Even if you can’t give away V-Bucks directly, you can give away items and costumes in the game. To do this, 2FA must be activated in the corresponding account, you must be at level 2, and you must have the other player on your friends list.

• To give items in Fortnite, select them in the store. Next to the purchase button, you will find another button that allows you to give items as gifts.

• In the next step, select the recipient of the gift; ideally, you should use the Epic Games username. Once purchased, the item will be sent automatically.

• Not every item can be gifted. If a player already owns an item but not the rest of a package, the package can no longer be gifted.
