Hogwarts Legacy: How to change the time of day

In Hogwarts Legacy, you can easily change the time of day yourself. This can be necessary if you have to complete certain tasks or want to experience the open world game of the Harry Potter universe in a different light.

That’s why you should adjust the time of day

You can change the time of day not only to travel in the Open World at the time that suits you best. Rather, this change is crucial for some tasks.

• Some magical animal creatures only appear at certain times of the day. So depending on the species, you may need to be out and about at the right time of day if you are to catch them.

• Instruction usually takes place during the day. An exception to this is the astronomy class. You can only complete the corresponding activities at night.

• In addition, some items that you have to collect can only be found at a certain time of day.

Hogwarts Legacy: How to change the time of day

In Hogwarts Legacy, you can explore the Harry Potter universe with your own wizard apprentice in an open world game. The game has a day-night cycle, but you can customise it a bit yourself.

• To change the time of day, you must first open the map screen.

• In the lower right section of the menu you will find the Wait field.

• Click on Wait to change the time of day from day to night or from night to day.

• You cannot set a specific time in Hogwarts Legacy, however. You can only change between day and night.

• If you don’t want to change the time of day, you can also just go to the respective tasks at the appropriate time.
