Hay Day: How to unlock the reserve

The wildlife reserve in Hay Day is home to a whole range of animals, including elephants, giraffes, walruses, cheetahs, meerkats, hippos, zebras, gorillas, reindeer and arctic foxes. The reserve is located on the outskirts of the city in the land fields and becomes accessible to you after you have ascended to level 3.

• In order to use the reserve at Hay Day, you must first repair the so-called bookstall. This will cost you 10,000 coins and take a total of four hours. Only then can you collect the required puzzle pieces

• You can then use the puzzle pieces to bring the animals into the reserve. One animal costs 36 puzzle pieces

• If you select a species, you must first build the corresponding house so that the animal can move in. However, the house for the animal is free and can be used immediately. You will also receive two decorations corresponding to the new animal

• If you have two genders of the same species, you can collect and use more puzzle pieces for children and create a whole family.

• Puzzle pieces can be found in mysterious red boxes at certain events and as a derby prize. The puzzle pieces can also be found in two boat deliveries per week and in the valley.

Use the reserve at Hay Day effectively

The benefit of this reserve is to generate experience points. You can do this every twelve hours by waking and feeding the animals.

• You can wake up animals by clicking directly on the animal or by using the whistle. Use the latter to wake all animals of the same species. The whistle is located next to the food for the respective animal.
• Give the animals something to eat every twelve hours to get more experience points.
• Expand the reserve by settling as wide a variety of animals as possible. A wide variety of animals will also benefit you if you want to invite visitors from the city.

Visitors to the Hay Day Wildlife Reserve

The animals at the reserve are cute and attract visitors from the city.

• The city visitors come with tasks for you. Once you have completed all these tasks, you will receive coins and gifts

• Invite the visitors by serving them yourself. Make sure that the visitors have a paw behind your name.

• Some visitors want to see specific animals, so you should have different animals in your reserve.
