The mine in Hay Day is available from level 24. You can extract valuable ores and diamonds from it
Hay Fay: Precious ores from the mine
After reaching the 24th level in Hay Day, it is possible to unlock the mine for 21,000 coins. After a repair time of one day and 12 hours, you can get started.
- From the mine you get either gold, silver or – from level 25 – platinum ore. You can then smelt these ores into ingots and subsequently process them into high-quality jewelry. This requires the smelting furnace and jeweler buildings.
- If you have fought your way up to level 33, you can also get coal. From level 34, iron ore is the last metal to be added. These two raw materials are also melted in the smelting furnace and processed into accessories in the jeweler.
- Is the mine in Hay Day worth it? Even if the 21,000 coins may seem like a lot at first, you can use the ore you collect to make expensive jewelry that you can use for your visitors’ wishes and sell on at a high price so that the money comes back in.
- After a certain time or a certain number of mining actions, however, the mine may be exhausted and need to regenerate first.
Hay Day: Mining ores with tools
Tools are required to mine the ores in Hay Day. Depending on the type of tool, you will get different numbers of specimens. These five tools are available for this purpose:
- Dynamite: Here you get two random ores:
- TNT Barrel: With the help of TNT you can get three random ores.
- Shovel: After using this tool, you will receive four random ores.
- Pickaxe (from level 34): The best mining tool also produces the highest yield – five random ores are mined with this tool.
- With a little luck, diamonds will also drop during these processes. How many diamonds are released from the mine during ore extraction is a matter of chance and cannot be influenced, but there seems to be an upper limit of around 10 diamonds per day.
