GTA 6 Release: Release date and system requirements
GTA 6 is currently still in development. Announced the game in a community update from Rockstar on February 4, 2022, but there is no exact info on the release date yet.
- Therefore, neither system requirements nor release date have been set. Besides the PC, it will probably be released for the Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5.
- A release for the previous console generation is said to no longer be in the works, according to InsiderGaming’s Tom Henderson. Henderson is considered a fairly reliable insider regarding Rockstar Games, but there is no confirmation from the studio yet.
- According to information from Tom Henderson, the release can be expected in 2024 or 2025 at the earliest. Apparently, Rockstar Games has already scheduled this release period in 2021. However, we are still waiting in vain for a confirmation from the developers.
- If you want to pre-order GTA 6, however, you’ll have to be patient. Before even a release date is announced, also a pre-order will not be possible.

- Further, the game is said to feature a significantly improved AI, as well as an extensive weather and disaster system with floods and hurricanes. There is even talk of muscle building like in GTA: San Andreas.
