Green Hell: How to make a fire - Practical Tips

Green Hell: How to make a fire

by Pramith

Building a fire in Green Hell is important for boiling water, making food or not losing your mind in the survival game

Lighting a fire in Green Hell: Placing sticks made easy

Green Hell provides you with a variety of plans at the start to help you survive. This also includes the standard fire.

  • You will need eight normal and six small sticks for this. You can find these on the ground throughout the jungle and just need to pick them up
  • Then open the notebook and look for the small fire. Place the template on the ground in the desired location (preferably under a roof) and then place the sticks one after the other.
  • Now you have the basis for the fire. You will then need a firelighter, for which you already have plans in your survival notebook. Alternatively, you can find kindling in tribal villages
  • For the simplest kindling you need a small and a normal stick. Craft the tool and insert it. Then transfer the embers to the fire to light it
  • This fire lasts for more than 15 in-game hours. You can extend the burning time with fuels such as leaves, feathers, charcoal and others. Once it has burned out, you will receive charcoal and ash that you can continue to use
  • Note: To extend the standard fire, you need the corresponding blueprints. You can find blueprints for a stone ring and complete campfires in the abandoned tribal village, for example.
