Hops are used in Graveyard Keeper as an ingredient for beer and mead, as well as for alchemical purposes. You have to grow the resource yourself
Graveyard Keeper: Grow and process hops
Brew mead and beer from hops in Graveyard Keeper. To do this, you must first unlock the vineyard and acquire suitable seeds.
- You will gain access to the vineyard west of Witch Hill when you meet the Inquisitor for the first time. This is only possible on Wrath Days. He will give you permission to use the vineyard
- You must then equip the vineyard with trellises, which you build from five wooden sticks. You can unlock the blueprint for trellises via the Harvest technology in the Nature technology tree.
- Hop seeds can be purchased from the miller in three different qualities: Bronze quality for 35 bronze coins, silver quality for 47 bronze coins and gold quality for 60 bronze coins. You will receive eight seeds for each of the above prices.
- You can then plant the hop seeds to brew beer. You need four seeds per bed. If necessary, you can increase the quality with fertilizer
- Hops take quite a long time before you can harvest the plant. You will then receive three to five units of hops, two to four hop seeds and an unspecified amount of harvest waste.
- You can then process three portions of hops at the brewing station (brewery technology) with 15 units of wheat and 50 units of water to make ten pints of beer. The quality of the beer depends on the quality of the hops and wheat
- If you want to brew mead, use a portion of honey instead of wheat. Alternatively, you can process the hops into slowing powder using the alchemy mill or into slowing solution using the hand mixer.
