You unlock the New Game Plus mode in God of War Ragnarok after completing the main story. The difficulty level you choose or your play style does not matter.

• Following this, the New Game Plus option is available for selection in the main menu. You can use any save that you used to play through the main story. The difficulty will be taken from this one.

• The New Game Plus raises the level cap of Kratos’ equipment (level 10), but not Atreus’. For this purpose, the developers have added a variety of new resources and items.
