Fortnite: Redeem Card – How the V-Bucks Work

When you redeem a Fortnite card, you get V-Bucks that you can use for in-game purchases. We’ll show you how it works

Fortnite: Redeem V-Bucks Card

You can get V-Bucks in Fortnite by activating credit cards in your account. To do this, log in directly on the Fortnite homepage.

• After logging in, navigate to your profile name in the top right corner and open the drop-down menu. Then select V-Bucks Card. On the following page, click on the GO button.

• Now you will see a blank field where you have to enter the code. Scratch the code free on the V-Bucks card and enter it. Click Next.

• Select the desired platform for the V-Bucks. You can choose between PC/Mac, Mobile, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and Playstation. To redeem V-Bucks for your Xbox and Playstation, you must first link your Microsoft or Playstation account to your Epic Games account.

• Check the information and complete the process. The V-Bucks are now available on your Fortnite account.

• Xbox and Playstation players will need to complete an additional step to redeem the card. Once you select one of the two platforms, you will receive a 12 or 25 digit code. Copy this.

• The activation window will take you directly to the Microsoft or Playstation site. Log in, enter the code and confirm. You will then receive the V-Bucks in your account.

Important information about Fortnite V-Bucks

After you have redeemed the Fortnite card and received the V-Bucks on your account, you can spend them on game content such as emotes or the Battle Pass. There are certain points to keep in mind:

• V-Bucks are not transferable between accounts. It is also not possible to give away V-Bucks to other players.

• Epic Games does not offer refunds for V-Bucks. If the V-Bucks are already in your account, you cannot exchange them for real money. This also applies to unused game credits.

• V-Bucks are stored in a shared wallet. You can therefore use the redeemed credit on all platforms as long as you log in with your account on the respective one. The Shared Wallet is not available for Nintendo Switch users.

• An exception are V-Bucks, which you earn within the game or through the Battle Pass. These can be used by all platforms.

• Be aware of regional restrictions when redeeming V-Bucks cards. Many cards are blocked for other regions. For example, if you want to use a French card for your German Fortnite account, this is not possible.
