Fortnite: Battle Royale Chapter 5 – Season 2: Myths & Mortals: From the Underworld to Olympus
In Chapter 5 – Season 2: Myths & Mortals, you face the Greek deities and mythological creatures in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
- The map from Chapter 5 – Season 1 now features four legendary locations. The focus is on Mount Olympus, which can already be recognized from the bus by the huge statue of Zeus
- The counterpart to Mount Olympus is Grim Gate with the River Styx and TheUnderworld, the domain of Hades. If you step into the pale green river, you will receive a special sprint bonus, recognizable by the three skulls. Jump twice to use the sprint
- The Brawler’s Battleground is only a stone’s throw away from Olympus. Ares can be found there and wants to fight you. Otherwise, you will find other gods and goddesses such as Artemis scattered all over the island.
- The Myths & Mortals Fortnite Battle Pass is also included with eight outfits and costs 950 V-Bucks. In addition to deities such as Zeus and Poseidon, there is a Medusa skin and even Korra from the Avatar universe is included. You can get the Ares skin via a Fortnite Crew subscription instead
- You collect experience points for the Battle Pass in all modes of the game. In addition to Zero Build or the classic Battle Royale, this also includes LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing. You can earn up to 1,500 V-Bucks through the Battle Pass over the course of the season
- Furthermore, there are balancing adjustments. You will no longer receive experience if you survive without taking damage. It also takes longer to reach the Unreal rank
Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 5 – Season 2: Myths & Mortals: Weapons and Mods
Fortnite Chapter 5 – Season 2: Myths & Mortals naturally offers a variety of different weapons and mods to help you on your way to a Victory Royale. Many of these can be found in the numerous bunkers scattered across the map, which open automatically from the middle of the round.
- The focus is primarily on the weapons of the gods. Zeus’ lightning bolt has three charges and attacks enemy players with great penetrating power. With Hades’ Harbinger submachine gun, on the other hand, you go straight into battle and take advantage of its extremely high precision with the first shots.
- Hades’ lapdog, Cerberus, rewards you with the Gatekeeper shotgun. It is deadly at close range and allows three quick shots in succession. If you prefer an AR instead, grab the warforged assault rifle from Ares, god of war.
- The Huntress DMR from Artemis, on the other hand, lets you easily snipe enemy players. It already has an effective visor. In combination with the new Icarus wings, you can take up a good position and, in an emergency, you can even push down on opponents
- The following weapons from the previous season can also be found again: Automatic Rage Shotgun, Thunder Volley Machine Pistol, Hammer Pump Gun, Nemesis Assault Rifle, Ranger Pistol, and the Reaper Sniper Rifle.
- One of the new mods is the Tempo handle. You can attach it to any weapon to increase your movement speed while aiming.
- Also available is an infrared scope that you can attach to compatible weapons. It allows you to spot enemies via a thermal image, making it easier to locate them.
- The medals from the previous season have been replaced by new god coins. These provide you with special abilities when you defeat a god or Cerberus. However, make sure that your position with the equipped medal is shown approximately on the map
- Note: The Hades chains will be added as a weapon over the course of the season.
