Crossplay in FIFA 24 allows players to play together regardless of the platform used. Different modes are supported.
FIFA 24: Crossplay at a glance
Crossplay is available in EA SPORTS FC 24 (FIFA 24) for a variety of platforms:
- PC players can fight for the ball together with users on next-gen consoles. These include the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S.
- PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will be able to crossplay with each other. They will not be able to gamble with the other platforms, including Windows.
- Crossplay is not available to owners of the Nintendo Switch version. Multiplayer is exclusive to them.
- Crossplay is automatically enabled and can be turned off at will via the console or game settings depending on the version.
- To play with friends from other platforms, FIFA 24 uses the EA Social Hub. You will need to log in with your EA account (formerly Origin) to invite friends.
FIFA 24 Crossplay: Supported Modes
If you want to use crossplay in EA SPORTS FC 24, these different modes are available:
- The Clubs and Co-Op Seasons support crossplay. This means that you can play together against other players and progress with your team.
- Ultimate Team offers crossplay for solo and co-op modes. This allows you to create your favourite team on your own or with friends.
- VOLTA’s Arcade and Squad modes can be enjoyed via Crossplay. As well as the online friendlies and seasons.
- Whether online games are played via crossplay depends on the creator of the lobby. If crossplay is activated, all players can play with activated crossplay. If not, the corresponding lobby is only accessible to players on their own platform.
