The Farming Simulator 2022 supports crossplay for all platforms on which the game is available. There are only a few restrictions on mods and the maximum number of players.

Tilling fields, breeding animals and cutting down trees is even more fun together with friends. Fortunately, playing together is quite uncomplicated, because Farming Simulator 22 supports crossplay.

• Farming Simulator 22 is available for the platforms PC, Mac, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Google Stadia can also play along.
• The game supports crossplay between all platforms. So you can play together on one server across platforms.
• To play on a server, either one of the players must host a dedicated server or you rent a server from a third-party provider.
• If you host a server yourself on your PC, the server has a maximum of 16 players. If you host on Xbox or PlayStation, the server has a maximum of 6 slots.
• Also note that there are special rules regarding mods. All players must have the server mods installed – this means restrictions for consoleros. Google Stadia players will not be able to join a server that has mods enabled.
• However, there is no cross-progression or cross-save. So you can’t start a game on your PC and seamlessly continue playing it later on your PlayStation. Between PCs, however, you can find and transfer savegames as usual to load a savegame.

How to play Farming Simulator 22 cross-platform

If you want to jump into Farming Simulator 22’s multiplayer and start a server yourself, here’s how:

• Start the game and select “Multiplayer” in the main menu.
• Click on “Create game”. Here you can now select a new slot or load a game you have started.
• Follow the instructions. Make sure you set “Allow Crossplay: On” setting.
• Set a server name and password. Your friends will need this to join.
• Finally, click on “Start”. It will take a few seconds for the server to appear in the list and for your friends to join.
• In the options, select which player is the admin of the server. He or she alone can assign rights to other players, create farms and more.
