Elden Ring: Quest order at a glance

In Elden Ring there is no typical main quest that you can follow via a quest log or specific missions. The optimal quest order focuses on the fragment bearers, specific bosses, to obtain parts of the Elden Ring.

• Attention spoiler: This sequence introduces the individual sections with the respective bosses. If you want to experience everything for yourself, simply follow the golden trail in the game.

• You start in the Intermediate Land in the Chapel of Expectation and then reach the Limgrave area via the Cemetery of the Stranded and the optional Cave of Knowledge (tutorial). Make your way to Storm Veil Castle

• On the way there, you will reach the Church of Elleh, meet Maid Melina and the NPC Renna and can enjoy the Spectral Steed. Then follow the path to Storm Veil Castle and a battle against Margit, the cruel mark, awaits you.

• Defeat him to reach the Round Table Fortress. Then roam Storm Veil Castle until you reach the final boss, Godrick the Transplanted. After a successful battle against the demigod, you can enjoy his rune and then reach Liurnia Lakeland.

• In Liurnia, the goal is the Academy of Raya Lucaria to defeat the second fragment bearer Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. Find the Shimmerstone Key and enter the academy

• Inside the academy, you must first defeat the Red Wolf Radagon and then the Caranian Knight Moongrum before you can face Rennala. After defeating them, head towards the Altus Plateau

• Take the elevator from Dectus to reach the plateau. From there, go directly to the capital Leyndell, which is guarded by the Dragon Tree Guardian. Kill him to enter the city

• In the capital, you must first take on Godfrey, the first Elden Lord, and then Morgott, the King of Mal. You will then receive a medallion from Melina so that you can use the elevator to Rold. Use it to make your way to the summit of the Giants’ Mountain

• Before you make your way there, it is worth completing the dungeons Volcano House near Mount Gelmir and Redmane Castle in Caelid. The demigods Star Scourge Radahn and Rykard, Prince of Blasphemy, await you there and will also reward you with a rune.

• Once you have entered the Mountain Peak of the Giants, you must defeat the Fire Giant in Elden Ring. You will then be automatically transported to the Giants’ Forge. Talk to Melina there, who will transport you to the Decayed Farum Azula

• From the Decayed Farum Azula onwards, important boss fights follow one after the other until you can no longer turn back. Prepare yourself for a brilliant ending at the Eldenthron

• Tip: Take enough time to experience the numerous side quests that shed light on the fates of the inhabitants of the Intermediate Lands. This is also interesting for the New Game Plus
