The stone tablets in Dredge are mysterious items that are important for one of the numerous side quests in the Lovecraft-inspired horror fishing game
Dredge: Start the quest for the stone tablets
In Dredge, Lovecraft’s influences can be felt at every turn. This is also the case with the quest for the mysterious stone tablets. They are an essential part of a side quest that gives you access to the lighthouse on the dangerous Devil’s Ridge Islands.
- To start the side quest about the stone tablets in Dredge, you must first find one of them. All three are located in the Devil’s Ridge
- In the south of the islands in sector Q13 you can already track down one of the panels. It is located between half-sunken ruins and dangerous fish patrol it
- One island further north you will find the next stone tablet at P13. You must navigate your ship carefully through the ruins to avoid damaging it.
- You need a load of explosives for the last stone tablet in sector P15. You will recognize the rubble to be blown up between the walls. You will then have access to the panel.
Dredge: Connect stone slabs
Once you have found all the stone tablets in Dredge, your reward won’t be long in coming.
- With the three stone tablets in your luggage, visit the Kleinmark merchant. Show him the tablets and he will put them together
- Then head for the Devil’s Ridge Islands again. Look out for the lighthouse, which is located on the northernmost island.
- At the lighthouse you will find a pier for mooring. You then enter the lighthouse and can open the stone door with the composite panel.
- Finally, you will receive further information about the ancient lighthouse and can look forward to a generous reward: two chalices, two rings and the Flame of Heaven. The quest is now complete
- Tip: The Flame of Heaven is a lamp for your ship with a luminosity of 3,500 lumens (5,000 upgraded with a suitable lens). It has a range of 25 meters and takes two in-game hours to install
