Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to find and fish salmon

The salmon is one of a variety of fish you can catch in Disney Dreamlight Valley in a variety of locations. This is useful as Olaf and Mulan ask you for some.

  • In the main game, you can find salmon in Sunny Plains (7,000 Dreamlight) and the Icy Heights (10,000 Dreamlight). It doesn’t matter which body of water you use for fishing in the biomes.
  • If you own the Rift in Time DLC, you can also fish for salmon in the Wild Jungle (2,000 mists). You will find the fish in the Grassland and on the Boardwalk (6,000 mists).
  • Salmon are not tied to a specific time of day or weather. Cast your line among the white and blue waves to find the fish.
  • Since salmon are a fairly common catch when fishing in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you don’t need any special bait. Just cast your line often enough and you should quickly amass a supply of fish.
  • Tip: If you fish in Sunny Plains from December 18 to 31, you have a chance of catching the Festive Salmon. Look for the red and green waves that indicate the fish wearing a Christmas hat.
