DOOM: The Dark Ages: Release in detail
DOOM invites you to battle demons again with The Dark Ages.
- It is a prequel that takes place before the re-released DOOM from 2016 and DOOM Eternal. You will get to know the origin story of the characteristic protagonist in a futuristic medieval setting
- A variety of new weapons and equipment are at your disposal to put an end to the demons. These include the chainsaw shield, the skull crusher and the rail spike gun.
- Use the chainsaw shield to defend yourself and chop up your opponents. The skull crusher uses crushed skulls as ammunition and with the rail spike gun you shoot spears with a huge impact. This allows you to really let off steam while hunting demons.
- Another new feature for the DOOM series is the use of giant mecha suits. In the game, you have a giant dragon and titan named Atlan at your disposal. These will help you against the mighty demons.
DOOM: The Dark Ages: Release and Platforms
DOOM: The Dark Ages is still a little way off. So you can’t immediately go into battle as a DOOM Slayer.
- The release is planned for 2025. There is currently no more precise date (June 2024)
- DOOM: The Dark Ages will be available for Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also be available via Game Pass
