Disney Dreamlight Valley: Find fertile soil – here’s how.

by Johannes

For some quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley you need fertile soil. It can be found in all biomes, because it is a by-product of gardening.

How to get fertile soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You need to find fertile soil in Scar’s Nature and Nurture quest series, for the watering can upgrade, and for some other missions.

  • Fertile soil is created in Disney Dreamlight Valley as a by-product of farming.
  • Recultivate vegetables and crops and water regularly until the plants are grown and ready to harvest.
  • Fruitful soil may drop when you harvest – but it doesn’t have to. The chance is not known, but you usually have to harvest considerably more than ten plants to also get ten times fertile soil.
  • Companions unfortunately cannot help you here. While friends often increase the loot, they don’t seem to have any effect on the random drop.
  • Tip: Wheat only takes a minute to grow. Get the grain en masse (for example, at Goofy’s stall in the Peaceful Meadow) and plant it, and you can farm fertile soil quite reliably.
