Weapon mods are a feature in Dead Island 2 through which you can strengthen your equipment.
- Mods are unlocked via blueprints. Afterwards it is possible to install them via workbenches.
- Interact with the workbench to select the weapon you want. You can improve melee and ranged weapons in this way. Besides the blueprint, you will need the respective resources.
- The different weapon mods equip them with effects that help against the zombie hordes. For example, you can equip your weapons with stun gun mods or a damage increase.
Find blueprints for weapon mods in Dead Island 2
Weapon mods in Dead Island 2 will be available once you find the appropriate blueprint.
- You’ll get the majority of the blueprints through the course of the main story. Some side quests also reward you with plans for weapon mods.
- You can purchase mod blueprints from merchants. Dealers are most commonly found in Safe Zones.
- Many blueprints are scattered around the world. Keep your eyes open to find mod blueprints in hard-to-reach places. When in doubt, revisit locations that have been unlocked via the story.
