You can already defend your village well in Clash of Clans at Town Hall Level 7 by cleverly distributing and protecting your resources.
Clash of Clans: Clan War Defense with Town Hall Level 7
In the Clan War in Clash of Clans, your resources should be on the outside, because your opponents will bite their teeth out.
- Your town hall should be in the center of every clan war village. This alone would otherwise win your enemy one of the three stars
- The resources and builders’ houses are on the outside. Enemy units destroy them first and are shot up by your defenses in the meantime.
- Your camps are in the first outer defense ring, because they usually have a lot of life and hold off units longer than other buildings.
- Centrally located are the air defenses, mine launchers and mage towers. These have a long range and are the most important units in your defense. The enemy may only approach them as late as possible
Defense for farming: Clash of Clans with Town Hall Level 7
To farm resources, some of the same rules apply as in the Clan War. However, you must protect your elixirs and gold! The picture shows another possible setup.
- As in the Clan War, you place your production sites around your village. If you play regularly, these will be empty anyway and opponents won’t be able to steal many resources.
- Other with the camps: you should place these in the inner ring when farming so that opponents cannot advance so quickly.
- The town hall makes the most important difference. Many players only attack you for a victory and are satisfied with just one star. That’s why you place the town hall at the very edge of the map, outside your village. This way, opponents often only attack the town hall and end the battle – and you keep almost all your resources
