In Battlefield 4, you have the option of collapsing the “Siege of Shanghai” – a huge high-rise.
Battlefield 4: How to collapse the high-rise
To bring down the “Siege of Shanghai”, brute force is needed. To do this, get some equipment, ideally a tank.
- The only skyscraper that can be brought down in Battlefield 4 is the Siege of Shanghai. It is located in the middle of the map.
- At the front of the skyscraper, you can see four columns supporting the building. However, these are already slightly damaged from the start.
- The columns can each withstand two shots from the tank. You also need two shots with the bazooka or grenade launcher. It takes longer if you use your C4 explosives. Each column can withstand five charges of the plastic explosive.
- Be careful where you stand once the building collapses. If you are too close, you will most likely be crushed by the falling debris.
Bring down the skyscraper with a single blow from the air
When you carry out an airborne assault in Battlefield 4, you are safe from falling debris and can fully observe and monitor the spectacular collapse.
- You should already have some flying experience, because the columns are much harder to reach from the air.
- Use a helicopter to get as close as possible to the skyscraper’s columns. You will have to fly just above the waterline to attack the columns.
- The recoil of the missiles can easily send your helicopter into a tailspin. The attack can therefore become a balancing act. Keep calm and always counteract any inclinations only slightly.
- Attack the columns until they collapse. When the skyscraper begins to collapse, fly up and observe the collapse from a safe distance.
