The multiplayer first-person shooter Battlefield 2042 can be played across platforms thanks to crossplay. In order for friends to be able to connect via console and PC, you just have to activate Crossplay first.
How to activate Crossplay for Battlefield 2042
Battlefield 2042 supports Crossplay! To be able to play together, first make sure you have enabled the feature before inviting friends over
- Navigate to the “General” tab in the options.
- Make sure you have set “Cross-Play: On”.
- Now go back to the main menu and click on “Squad”.
- Navigate to “Players ☻ Add Players”.
- Select “Enter Origin ID”. Your friend will find the Origin ID in his or her EA account. The tag can also be displayed via Battlefield: Navigate to “General ☻ Network” in the options and click on “EA Account” there to find out your name.
