Crossplay in “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” makes it easier for players to experience the open-world action adventure together with their friends
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: Crossplay and co-op in detail
“Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” offers players an extensive cross-play function as well as a co-op mode.
- Crossplay is supported on all platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Windows and the Amazon Luna Cloud Gaming Service. You unlock the function after the mission “The Aranahe Clan” after you have made contact with Etuwa.
- You can deactivate crossplay via the main menu in the game, as it is activated by default. In the main menu, select “Co-op” and then “Co-op settings”. There you will find the Crossplay option and the option to switch it on or off
- Coop mode supports a maximum of two players. This means you can play together with another person. This is also possible after you have unlocked the crossplay function.
- Depending on your system, you will need the Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PlayStation Plus for multiplayer. There is no couch co-op in “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.”
- To start a co-op session, you must first be friends with the person via Ubisoft Connect. This is the only way to invite each other
- In the pause menu, open the co-op menu again. Navigate to the desired person in the online friends list and select them. You can start the co-op session with “Invite to group”
- Your friend will then appear directly in the game. “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” offers the opportunity to experience the story together. All story progress is carried over to the single player
- In addition, both players can enjoy all the rewards and items they have received during the session. Necessary skills are made available via the co-op session
