With Apple CarPlay, you can use your iPhone not only to make calls and listen to music, but also to get directions. The practical thing: you use the functions via voice control, so you don’t have to take your hands off the steering wheel. If CarPlay does not work, you should check the following things:

1. It is important that there is a connection between your iPhone and the car’s infotainment system. You can establish this connection either by cable or via WLAN or Bluetooth.
2. If you are using the wired connection, try connecting the USB cable to another USB port. It may also be helpful to replace the cable.
3. If you are using a wireless connection, check the settings to see if Wi-Fi or Bluetooth are enabled.
4. Make sure Siri is activated. This is the only way for CarPlay to work properly.
5. In addition, the latest version of the iOS operating system should be installed on your IPhone. If this is not the case, first carry out an update.
