Uninstall Samsung Pay – here’s how
Contactless payment with your smartphone – thanks to Samsung Pay, it’s quick and easy. But if you don’t use the feature, the app consumes unnecessary storage space. Unfortunately, the app can only be completely uninstalled on rooted smartphones. However, we have an alternative for you.
- First go to the “Settings” on your Samsung smartphone.
- Scroll down a little there and then tap on “Apps”. At the top of the tabs, go to the More … ☻ App Manager tab.
- Search the list of installed apps for the app “Samsung Pay” and tap on it.
- On the top right of the overview page of the app, you will find a switch-off button. Select this button. Turning off Samsung Pay removes the functionality of the app and ensures that it no longer consumes storage space.
- Note: Unfortunately, it cannot be uninstalled without a rooted smartphone, so you will need to use this method.
