If you don’t know how long the warranty on your Samsung device still is, you can check it online. We’ll show you how.
Samsung: How to check the warranty status manually
If a Samsung device is damaged or defective, it is worth checking the warranty status before arranging a repair. During the warranty period, the manufacturer warrants that its devices are free from defects in materials and workmanship.
- Samsung usually offers a warranty of one or two years. However, in some cases the warranty is only three or up to twelve months. You can find out which warranty applies to which products and what you need to bear in mind in Samsung’s warranty conditions.
- The period always begins on the date of purchase from an authorized dealer. The purchase date can be found on the receipt or invoice.
- If you do not have the receipt, you can check the warranty status with Samsung using the serial number.
