by Johannes

If you want to switch off the Samsung Galaxy A51, you can force this in several ways. The traditional way via a long press on the power button is not possible by default. Here we show you how to do this instead.

Switch off the Samsung Galaxy A51: These options are available

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has the voice assistant Bixby on board. This means that a long press on the [Power] button opens Bixby instead of the switch-off menu.

  • To still turn off your smartphone, press and hold the [Power] button and the [Volume Down] button for a few seconds.
  • The familiar menu for switching off the smartphone opens. Tap “Switch off” here.
  • Alternatively, you can also switch off the Samsung Galaxy A51 via the notification bar by pulling it down and tapping the power symbol there. The power off menu will also open here.
