Samsung: Activate children’s mode – this is how

On Samsung smartphones and tablets, you can activate the “Samsung Kids” children’s mode so that you can give the device to the kids without worrying. We show you where the kids mode is hidden and how to switch it on.

Enable Kids Mode on Samsung smartphones and tablets

Follow these steps to activate the “Samsung Kids” child mode on your Samsung smartphone or tablet.

• First, open the app overview by swiping up on the homescreen or tapping the grey icon in the bottom bar.

• Then type “Samsung Kids” in the search bar and open the app.

• If you also want Samsung Kids to appear on your app overview, you can now set a check mark for it.

• Press “Next” to finish the setup.

• Child mode is now activated and can be used by your child. Among other things, various downloadable games and a dedicated camera app complete with gallery are available.
