How to reinstall the Samsung App Store?

by Flo

In some cases, you have to reinstall the Samsung App Store, for example, if you have deleted the app via root rights or have a custom ROM without the App Store on your smartphone. Here we tell you how to do this.

Reinstall the Samsung App Store: Via APK file

If you have rooted your Samsung smartphone and the Samsung App Store was uninstalled in the process, you can reinstall Samsung’s competitor to the Google Play Store on your phone via an APK file.

  • To do this, download the APK file for the Galaxy Store on your smartphone.
  • Once the download is complete, open the file by clicking on it under Downloads in the My Documents app.
  • You may now see a message saying that you are not allowed to install apps from unknown sources. To change this, click on “Settings” and activate the checkbox “Allow from this source”.
    • If you now open the file again, you can use the Galaxy Store on your mobile phone again via the “Install” button.
