If the error code 192 appears in the Google Play Store and you cannot download or update an application because of this, this can be due to various problems. We’ll tell you what they are and how you can fix the error here.
Google Play Store error code 192: troubleshooting options
If Play Store error code 192 pops up while you are trying to download an app, it can be attributed to either problems with your device, internet or cache.
- It often helps if you restart your smartphone. This reloads all the system files.
- Also make sure that there is enough memory available on your device. You can find an overview of this in the settings under the item “Memory”. If the memory is full, you must first create free memory before you can download the app.
- Further, you should check if your internet connection is stable. If web pages can be loaded in the browser without any problems, an error with the internet connection can be ruled out.
- Sometimes there are also problems with the cache of the Google Play Store and Google Play services. To clear the cached data, open the settings and go to the “Apps” item.
-
Then select the item “Memory” from the Google Play Store and then click on “Clear cache”. Repeat the same with the Google Play services.
- If this does not help, delete the entire in-app data. This is done in the same way as described above. However, in the “Memory” item, click on “Delete data”.
What else you can do
If you have done the above steps but the error persists, there are other things you can do.
- For example, a faulty Google Play Store update may have caused the error. Therefore, uninstall all updates of the app. You can do this again in the “Apps” tab by tapping on the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the Google Play Store and then on “Uninstall updates”.
- Also, it often helps if you log out of Google on your phone and then log in again.
- Finally, you should check your date and time settings on your device and set them correctly.
