To connect a hearing aid with an Android smartphone, all you need to do is enable Bluetooth on the device. Then follow these instructions to set up the connection:

• Go to the settings of your smartphone. This can be found under the gear icon. Within this menu you will find the connected devices.

• Click on “Pair new device”. After that, you will be shown a comprehensive list of devices that you can pair with your Android smartphone nearby. Decide on the hearing device.

• The hearing aid will now be paired. If you are using a separate hearing aid for each ear, you will need to connect both individually. After that you should see the status “Active, left and right”.

• It is also possible to connect via the hearing aids if you are using ASHA models. The hearing aids can also be found under the settings. Select hearing aids and then pair a new device.

• Tip: Many hearing aid manufacturers offer a matching app that guides you through the connection process. This will prevent potential problems with the connection process.
