If you want to use Bluetooth headphones with your Android smartphone, you need to connect the devices. This guide will tell you how to do that.
Instruction: Connecting Bluetooth headphones with Android phone
A Bluetooth headset works without a cable. You just need to connect it to your Android phone by issuing a command.
- First, open the Settings app on your Android smartphone.
- Tap on “Connections” to go to the “Bluetooth” category.
- Activate the Bluetooth function.
- Now turn on your Bluetooth headset and press and hold the pairing button for a few seconds.
- Your Bluetooth headphones should then be displayed on your smartphone.
- Now select the headphones and the two devices will be paired.
- In the future, the connection should be established automatically as soon as you switch on the headphones and Bluetooth is activated on your smartphone.
- Note: If you tap on the info or cogwheel icon next to the headphones, you can still adjust some settings depending on the device.
