Android headphones are too quiet: solutions
If your music on your Android smartphone is too quiet on your headphones, there may be a number of reasons for this:
- If you are using the headphones that came with the device, they usually offer poorer quality. This is quickly noticeable. In this case, it is usually sufficient to use better headphones.
- In rare cases, your headphones may be damaged. Try a different model to make sure it’s not the headphones.
- If you are using Bluetooth headphones, unpair them and pair them again with your Android device. If there are connection problems, this can lead to a lower volume.
- Check the battery of your wireless headphones. Some models get quieter when they are running low.
Headphones too quiet: adjust Android volume individually
Android devices also offer you the option of making adjustments directly via the volume menu:
- To do this, press one of the volume buttons on your device. Then click on the three dots that can be seen at the displayed volume.
- The volume adjustment of your device will open. There you can, for example, adjust the media volume using the slider to make it louder.
