On 4 October, Google introduced not only the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, but also Android 14. Google’s smartphones will get the update first. Then the smartphones of the other manufacturers will follow.

  • Google Pixel: All Pixel devices from the Pixel 4a onwards will receive the update. The update is also available for the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold.
  • Samsung: All S23, S22 and S21 series devices, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold4, Fold 3. Fold 2; Flip 5, Flip 4, Flip 3. In addition, Galaxy A73, A72, A54 A 53, A52s, A52 as well as A34. A33. A32, A23. A14 and A13.
  • Nokia: Nokia G60 and X30.

Andorid update: What else you need to know

Over time, more devices may get the update to Android 14. Here, it depends on the manufacturer how long you will receive Android updates. This is because manufacturers have to adapt the Android version for their devices.

  • Smartphone manufacturers deliver system updates for at least two years and security updates for three years. Therefore, if you own a smartphone that was launched in 2022, you will most likely receive the update.
  • However, this cannot be confirmed until the manufacturers have provided official details.
